D inesh Desai has, in all, published about 75 books including all three language (1) Gujarati, (2) Hindi and (3) English. As a journalist of mainstream newspapers, he has observed Narendra Modi closely and followed his rise from a simple boy from Vadnagar to New Delhi as PM.
He has written about 30 books about this unique journey of Narendra Modi. These books have become best sellers, not only in Gujarat, but at the national level and worldwide, as some of the books have been successfully translated in Hindi and English.

D inesh Desai is a Man with touch of Wit and Verve and is very versatile. His work area spans from Literature to Journalism and Public Speaking. In all this versatility, the unique thing is that, he remains unique. He has been working successfully in Gujarati media, first print and then electronic, for about two decades (1989 to 2010) and then moved to join with the Government of Gujarat, since 2011 respectively.
Actually it is his long standing versatility in the field of Gujarati Literature and Journalism, which has drawn him to public life and become active with Government of Gujarat.
